A Little About Muscle Definition Workouts & a Good Source

October 18th, 2011

One of my favorite types of workouts is the kind that focus on creating dense and defined muscles. You can build several different types of muscle so it’s important for you to really know what kind of look you’re going for. For me, the most appealing build is one that is lean and muscular. I’m not too into the big and bulky look. For one, you’re going to be big and slow and not be able to fit into stylish clothes. If you focus on building a lean physique then you’ll be more athletic and capable of doing fun stuff. You’ll also be able to wear basically whatever types of clothes that you want without worrying about how funny you’ll look. My favorite article on how to workout for muscle definition is the one found here: http://fitnessblackandwhite.com/muscle-definition-workouts/ This really is a solid workout plan that I’ve been following for a little while and it’s producing some great results.

Doing Heavy Bicep Curls Are How to Build Bigger Arms

September 18th, 2011

In muscle training if there is one golden rule or guiding principle to go by, it is to keep things simple. Is there any simpler exercise to perform than a bicep curl? I doubt it. Its the most recognized weight training exercise along with the bench press.

The great thing about bicep curls is that it is a basic mass building exercise. How to build bigger arms is to use this exercise as your primary – or only movement.

Remember though that biceps are small muscles, so in effect, they are one of the minor muscle groups.

The key with training biceps is to train them intensely and heavily. Your arm muscles are always being worked. You use them in every workout you perform, so how to build bigger arms with doing them, is to train them much heavier and faster than you would normally do.

Alternate weekly workouts with barbells and dumbells. Train 40 minutes maximum.
